The Honourable Justice / L’honorable juge Guy Régimbald
Justice Régimbald was appointed to the Federal Court, and ex officio member of the Federal Court of Appeal, in 2022. Prior to his appointment, he served as partner and National Leader of the Administrative Law Group at Gowling WLG, where he led a respected practice focused on constitutional and administrative law, Indigenous law, IP and taxation. Justice Régimbald has been widely recognized and awarded for his expertise in administrative & public law, as well as appellate practice. He is the author of leading texts on administrative and constitutional law, including LexisNexis publications, Canadian Administrative Law, Halsbury’s Administrative Law, Halsbury’s Constitutional Law, and co-author of The Law of the Canadian Constitution.
Le juge Régimbald a été nommé à la Cour fédérale, et membre d’office de la Cour d’appel fédérale, en 2022. Avant sa nomination, il a été associé et chef national du groupe de droit administratif chez Gowling WLG, où il dirigeait une pratique réputée axée sur le droit constitutionnel et administratif, le droit autochtone, la propriété intellectuelle et la fiscalité. Le juge Régimbald a été largement reconnu et récompensé pour son expertise en droit administratif et public, ainsi qu’en pratique d’appel. Il est l’auteur d’ouvrages de référence sur le droit administratif et constitutionnel, notamment les publications LexisNexis Canadian Administrative Law, Halsbury’s Administrative Law, Halsbury’s Constitutional Law, et co-auteur de The Law of the Canadian Constitution.
